Machined Form Design is owned by Mark Natinsky and is located just outside of Austin, Texas. We provide 3-D scanning, Design and CAD services, along with precision manufacturing.
During our years of experience engineering projects for ourselves and others, we kept finding that technology was not only more available, but more efficient. Manufacturing is changing fast and the resources to keep up with it can be daunting for a small business. We realized we not only had those resources, but had the experience to help other shops by giving them access to what we use on a daily basis. This helped them be more efficient, produce a better product, and improve their process. It's hard enough for a small business to make it in today's world, but with the right resources, you can separate yourself from the competition.
"Thinking out of the box" and "perfectionist" are two terms that describe who we are at Machinedform. When you can apply those attributes with something you love to do, then you have your dream job.
I bought my first welder at 14 with money earned from mowing lawns. I've been designing and building things ever since. When technology burst on the scene, I decided I could either embrace it, or get left behind. One of the things that fascinates me about today's software, is how it can stand alone, or be integrated with old school skills to create better designs and products more efficiently. I started designing in SolidWorks 12 years ago, and added 3-D scanning and its related software programs to the mix 4 years ago. I also have extensive experience with CNC press brake software, and utilize Mastercam for our CNC milling machine. I have an immense fascination with engineering products that exceed people's expectations.
I provide the behind the scenes support for the Machined Form Design team. Originally from Dallas, I came to Austin as soon as I could, receiving my BA in Business at the University of Texas at Austin. I oversee the Accounting, Advertising, and Purchasing along with a myriad of other responsibilities that come with running a small business. I love the excitement of being part of a breakout industry that is constantly changing.
